Lieber v. Diamantstein,
N.Y.L.J., 19 July 2001, p. 20, col. 4 (Sur. Ct.Kings Co., 2001)

The multiple parties to a commercial dispute brought their matter to a Beth Din, which issued a psak resolving that part of the dispute as between two of the parties, but leaving open other disputes among the parties. The court declined to confirm it as an arbitration because it was not a "final and definite" award as required by the arbitration statute, remanding the matter to the Beth Din for determination of all disputed issues.
